I saw a picture of a miniature 3-tier cake pan online and I had to have it. The pan allowed me to bake 4 small, 3-tiered cakes all at once. I tested it out for my friend’s New Year’s potluck. They measure about 6 inches tall and just over 4 inches at the base. Each cake is vanilla and chocolate marble cake with raspberry filling. Rather than trying to frost and fondant each one, I simply cascaded white chocolate over the exterior, which made them easier to handle and kept them tastier longer.
